Grzegorz Niemczuk has already enjoyed a successful career as a concert pianist having performed internationally over the past 11 years. He has traveled the world and given more than 350 recitals and concerts in 22 different countries on 6 continents. His career has brought him to many important concert halls in the world: Carnegie Hall in New York, Steinway Hall in New York, Yamaha Artist Services in Paris, Teatro Puccini in Milano, Teatro Civico in Vercelli, Teatro Sergio Cardoso in S&#227;o Paulo, Capela Santa Maria in Curitiba, Palau de la M&#250;sica Catalana in Barcelona, Lee Foundation Theater and Botanic Gardens in Singapore and many others in cities like Addis-Abeba, Daegu Gen&#232;ve, Porto Alegre, Florianopolis, Oslo, Napoli, Shanghai, Trieste, Weimar, Sofia, Vilnius, Zanzibar, Warsaw and many others. <br> <br>Niemczuk&#39;s vast repertoire spans more than 150 solo pieces and 28 piano concerti ranging from the Baroque to the contemporary era. His particular specialty is the Romantic period. During the last few seasons Grzegorz Niemczuk made his debuts as a soloist with a few orchestras, including Cracow Philharmonic Orchestra (Ravel Piano concerto for the left hand and Wojciech Kilar 1st Piano Concerto), New York Concerti Sinfonietta (Chopin 2nd Piano Concerto), Polish Philharmonic Sinfonia Baltica (Tchaikovsky 1st Piano Concerto), The Silesian Philharmonics in Katowice (Liszt 2nd Piano Concerto), Tokyo Mozart Virtuoso Orchestra (Mozart Piano Concerto K. 537 &quot;Coronation&quot;), The Symphony Orchestra of Lower Silesia (Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor). He has performed as a soloist under the baton of such conductors as: Paul Hostetter, Mitsuyoshi Oikawa, Tadeusz Wojciechowski, Jerzy Salwarowski, Szymon Bywalec, Jan Wincenty Hawel, Maja Metelska, Dariusz Mikulski, Paweł Przytocki, Monika Wolińska, Bohdan Jarmołowicz. <br> <br>The 2014/2015 season brought quite a few debut performances to the artistic life of Grzegorz Niemczuk. Started from a debut tour in Brazil (November 2014), he made his debut in Malaysia (February 2015) and Tokio&#39;s famous Kioi Hall (March 2015). Another highlight of the past season included a tour in Norway in April 2015. The season 2015/2016 brings another exciting tours: Malaysia, Singapore, Tanzania (Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam), Cura&#231;ao, Jamaica, Norway and Brazil. <br> <br>Grzegorz Niemczuk is the winner of many music competitions notably the 2013 International Carnegie Hall Concerto Debut Competition in New York City and 40th National Frederic Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (2010). He is also the Carnegie3winner of the 7th International Music Competition Citt&#224; di Piove di Sacco in Italy, &quot;Rencontres Internationales des Jeunes Pianistes&quot; in Waterloo, Belgium (2009), the 9th International Piano Competition &quot;Stefano Marizza&quot; in Trieste (2008), the &quot;Janet and William Schwartz Scholarship Award at IKIF in New York City (2008) and the National Festival &quot;Chopin of the Young&quot; Competition in Konin, Poland (2008). He has won top prizes at many Chopin Piano Competitions in L&#243;dź, Poland (2004), in Varna, Bulgaria (2005) and in Warsaw, Poland (2006, 2007). <br> <br>Born in Poland, Niemczuk graduated with the highest distinction from K. Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of renowned Professor J&#243;zef Stompel (Prizewinner of Enescu Competition in Bucureşti and International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 1960). He continued his piano studies in New York City, Mannes College (International Keyboard Institute and Festival 2008, 2009, 2011) where his teachers were such artists as Menahem Pressler (Indiana University), Philippe Entremont, Joaqu&#237;n Ach&#250;carro (Meadows School of the Arts), David Dubal (The Juilliard School), Jerome Rose (Mannes College), Choong-Mo Kang (The Juilliard School), and Yuan Sheng (Central Conservatory of Music – Beijing). He has also attended many masterclasses where he has collaborated with many great artists such as: Krystian Zimerman (2005), Peter Donohoe (2006), Andrzej Jasiński (2006), Alexey Orlovetsky (2007, 200
