Pop , Alternative , Country

Fox Harbor is an American Pop/Alt/Country band founded by Nathan Cogan in early 2014. Cogan, a touring member of the rock band "Taking Back Sunday" since 2010, had a vision for a rock minded band that brought together strong pop melody, 3 part vocal harmony, and the spirit of country song writing. After first recruiting Claire Cooper to share the position of lead singer, Cogan began writing pop love songs reminiscent of early Cash and Carter duets. The two began performing as an acoustic duo until the addition of Matthew Beier in the spring of 2014 as lead guitar player and singer. From there, the band started to define a more modern rock sound, while always staying true to that Nashville narrative in the songwriting. In October the band recorded its first EP "Because of you, I" which was released on Feb 8th of 2015. Already the group has achieved local acclaim being voted "Best Act" and "Best New Band" in the Toledo City Paper's yearly city wide vote. Already scheduled to return to the studio in April of 2015, the band is aggressively booking shows to expand its audience.
