The End of Grace started December 2012, when good friends Sulan (Man.Machine.Industry, Nothing Divine) and Jimmy (Man.Machine.Industry, Road To Repent) were tired of playing in other bands and wanted to create their own brand of melodic metal. They met a mutual friend in Jimmy Strimmel from Dead By April and started to write and pre record an EP in December 2012. They then got some members to join the exciting project in Robert Karlsson (bass) and Marcus Rosell (stand in drummer for Dead By April, Liam Espinosa and Dorm Patrol). The team was set and went about recording and releasing some online promo material to build up their fan base. After an unbelievable response from fans around the world, the machine which is The End of Grace, started to get bigger with fan bases popping up in Russia, France, Germany, Croatia and U.S.A.
In February/April Jimmy Strimmel, Robert and Marcus decided to leave the band dude to unforeseen circumstances and the band went about recruiting new members. They found new vocalist in Kriss Panic, who was working for the management company, but they also knew from singing in up and coming metal band in Gothenburg, Panic Area. The new singer added a different dynamic to the band, being a deathcore vocalist with a clean vocal register, he took the band into a new musical territory. The Band went looking for a replacement for the drums and for the bass and after some searching, they asked Johan Petterson form Jimmy's old band Road to Repent if wanted to take over on bass and join as a vocalist as well. After some soul searching he decided to join the band. Also Thomas Manell (Man.Machine.Industry, Pronoid) jumped on board and the final line up was completed!
The band then went straight into the studio (the legendary studio Fredman) where they recorded a 5 song EP in July. The band are rehearsing and preparing for shows around Sweden in the fall of 2013. Get ready to see them in a venue near you soon!
