Contemporary Folk Musician, Educator & Composer Of Ambient Music <br> <br>Instruments Played: <br>Piano, Saxophones, Keyboards, Recorders, Accordion, Guitar, Whistles, Fiddle, Viola, Percussion, Stick Dulcimer/StrummA. <br> <br>Tom is a multi-instrumentalist and freelance Music Practitioner/Teacher from Herefordshire. He has supported many musicians on the folk circuit both as a solo artist and half of duo HUGHES & HACK. <br> <br>Tom's debut album BLISS is a collection of original compositions performed on solo piano. An album of relaxing and meditative music. GEARED UP was released at the same time and shares Tom's other interests. An album of traditional folk music, again with some original music. <br> <br>In 2009, Folk Duo 'HUGHES & HACK' released their debut CD 'Good Humoured & Fairly Tipsy' - a collection of folk tunes with some tunes written by Tom & Charlotte. <br> <br>in 2010, Tom released his 2nd solo folk album called 'Solitude' - a completely different sound to Geared Up. The album is a collection of soothing folk melodies, a couple of original tunes & a few instrumental covers all performed on piano & low whistle. <br> <br>MERRY DAZE is an experimental folk project that Tom has been working on for several years. The album is a collection of traditional tunes with old & new compositions performed on an array of instruments mixed with a variety of worldy sounds. The album is to be released on 6th september 2011 and CDs are available from the webshop at <br> <br>WHAT NEXT: <br>Tom is working on the sequel album to 'Bliss' and has also started working on his next folk project.
